I'm sure that just like me, you have seen burlap used for decorating in a million different ways all over the blogosphere.
I have been collecting photos of the different uses of burlap in homes etc for inspiration photos. I am itching to use it somewhere in my home soon, but can't quite decide how just yet. There are so many options!
Burlap is a great way to add a little texture into your space.
How adorable is the chalk board with the ruffle burlap trim? I looove it.

I have seen burlap curtains everywhere it seems and I think they are gorgeous!

Layla from The Lettered Cottage is a genius!
Again, the burlap curtain in the back and I believe I even spy burlap covered votive holders.
I just love the way the natural light shines through the curtains in the photograph.

This is such a cute idea. Cover your old, ugly, or even cracking pots with burlap and ta da!

I am LOVING these pillows. I'm not too sure I would want to snuggle up next to one, but it sure is pleasing to the eye!

These are so cute. I think I see a project in the making...
I am in love with this adorable whimsy table cloth made of burlap.
It looks like these pieces of burlap are being used for place mats and I love this idea too! Doesn't it look beautiful pinned under the starfish?
I think I'm beginning to notice a pattern here, how about you?
I love this skinny little bench with the navy lines.
Another burlap table runner. Must. Have. One.
The 'bones' of this burlap covered foot stool are to die for.
The last photo I leave you with is my favorite. First off-I love the crisp white tufted bedding. Second, the stacked white suitcases creatively used in the place of a nightstand add a lot of originality to the room. Third, is what led me to my latest hunt:
I must have that directors chair.
You see, although my hubs isn't currently using his degree-he graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Film and Digital Media.
Translation: He is a big fat nerd when it comes to anything relating to film whether it be sound (which he specializes in), videos, editing-you name it-he knows all about it! I say nerd with nothing but love. I am very proud of my hubby!
(PS-the fact that he has this degree and isn't utilizing it AND it is costing us $900+ per month....yeah I'm not bitter about that at all)
And since I'm pretty sure that one is not for sale, nor would I want to pay the price it would most likely cost I have begun my search for an old directors chair to transform! The painted white body paired with the burlap-instead of the standard boring black material are SO pretty.
If you have any other photos or links you would like to share please email me and let me know! I would love to see more : )
(I found a lot of these images on a random search and forgot to save the links so I'm so sorry if your credit is missing, but I will be glad to add it if you please let me know!)
